14k Triads
Some Asian gangs are called 14k Triads, Soi Fong, and etc in China. There was a battle between Triads and Soi Fong. The Triad's head was Wan Kuok-koi or A.k.a Broken Tooth Koi. There were 14 dead people after the battle. However, after many crimes done by Broken Tooth Koi; he was sent to jail for 15 years. The 14k Triads were also suspected for drive-by shootings, car bombings and attempted assassinations.
How Asian Gang Starts?
Asian gangs start as a small group of friends. Their groups will start getting bigger and turn into gangs. Then, they would start to recruit people for gangs and might have a connection to a larger Asian organized crime groups. The Asian crime groups might control the small gangs to prostitution, gambling, smuggling, extortion, and other gang activities around the world.
The Reasons
After researching I have found the reason why Asian Americans decide to create gangs and stick together instead of being social and try to accomplish goals in a civil way. The reason the do all of the things they do is not because they are naturally uncivil but because the feel racial discrimination towards themselves when they got to look for jobs and their not hired most of the time and the first thing that comes to their mind is that "its because I’m Asian" and most of the time its exactly that. They might not be fluid in the English language which makes it even harder and, after trying very hard to adjust to an American society they become very angry and frustrated because they couldn’t accomplish the "American dream". Ultimately this result in uncivil matters, they band together and work in violent ways to get what they want and finally accomplishing that American dream they were promised to experience.
